Bernadette Peters

 

Bernadette (nee Lazzara) Peters is an American performer and actress. She has appeared in television, film, musical theatre , and solo performances, as well as on recorded recordings. Her career spans more than six decades. She is an acclaimed Broadway actor, having earned seven nominations for Tony Awards, winning two (plus an honorary award), and nine Drama Desk Award nominations, winning three. Four of the Broadway cast albums on which she's performed have been awarded Grammy Awards.



 



 Many believe Peters to be the top Stephen Sondheim interpreter. She is well-known for performances on Broadway, such as in Mack and Mabel (1974), Sunday in the Park with George (1884), Song and Dance (1885), Into the Woods with George (1987), The Goodbye Girl (1993), Annie Get Your Gun (1999), Gypsy (2003), A Little Night Music (2010), Follies (2009) and Hello, Dolly (2018).

  Cristela Alonzo (born 1977/1978) is a American actor, comedian as well as writer and producer who created and starred in the ABC sitcom Cristela. It was her first Latina woman to create and produce, write, and star in her own US primetime comedy.    Early life  Alonzo was born in San Juan, Texas. He is the youngest of four children. His mother Natalia Gonzalez worked double shifts at an Mexican restaurant for more than 20 years and his father Adalberto Alonzo were both Mexican. Alonzo was the child of a mother and father who were violent. Alonzo's mother left her husband and left her children in the care of their father.
